New technology application and tourism one member company limited (NEWTATCO), a state-owned enterprise, under Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, former Development of Technology and Tourism Corporation (DETETOUR), was established according to Decision 713/VKH - QD dated November 5^th, 1991, signed by the Academy Director.

On May 27^th, 1996, Director of National Centre for Natural Sciences and Technologies (now Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) signed Decision 1194/QD-KHCNQG on re-organising the Development of Technology and Tourism Corporation (DETETOUR) in the form of Corporation 90. On May 21^st, 2002, President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology made Decision 669/KHCNVN - QD to rename the company “New technology application and tourism corporation“ (NEWTATCO).

On June 19^th, 2008, President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology signed Decision 1058/QD - KHCNVN on reorganizing the New technology application and tourism corporation, NEWTATCO into New technology application and tourism company - NEWTATCO.

One January 1^st, 2010, President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology signed Decision 1266/QD - KHCNVN on reorganizing New technology application and tourism company into New technology application and tourism one member company limited - NEWTATCO into New technology application and tourism one member company limited - NEWTATCO.
